Everything You Need to Know

New to the game or returning for another season? Here's what to expect in our winter basketball program.

About Basketball

Basketball is a fast-paced team sport played indoors on a hardwood court. Two teams of five players compete to shoot a ball through the opponent's elevated basket while preventing the other team from scoring.

Our program focuses on fundamentals, teamwork, and having fun β€” regardless of prior experience.

What to Bring

Come ready to move:

  • Athletic sneakers (non-marking soles)
  • Athletic shorts and t-shirt or jersey
  • Water bottle

Basketballs are provided. Team pinnies or jerseys are distributed at the start of the season.

  • K–2nd: Lower baskets, no stealing
  • 3rd–4th: Half-court modified rules
  • 5th–6th: Full court, modified rules
